On September 20 and 21, the traditional event "Worldwide Spare Partners Meeting" which brought together the entire Carraro Spare Parts distribution network was held in Bardolino, one of the most famous villages on the Verona side of Lake Garda.
Two days full of activities, indoor moments for an update on results and objectives, but also team building activities that enhanced relationships and motivation. Over 40 distributors from 33 different countries, together with the Carraro team, actively participated in the event, for a total of over 80 participants.
In the morning of the first day, Stefano Image, Carraro After Sales & Spare Parts Director, and Massimo Bertin, Operation Manager, highlighted to the distributor network how the new logistics set up and the optimization of resources and processes will lead to an improvement in customer service. Enrico Gomiero, Board Member & CFO, illustrated the Company’s strategic plan and the Group’s growth objectives, and Franco Calvo, Sales & Marketing Director, drew the attention on the markets and on the new products and projects of our Company.
After that, the Carraro team and the sales network, divided into teams, had the opportunity to discuss various topics (round table sessions), proposed by themselves, such as service improvement, area of responsibility, competition, brand protection and technical solutions. For each topic, some areas of improvement were identified as well as some potential actions to be implemented, both by Carraro and by distributors. Actions always connected to the 5 Carraro Values. It was a precious moment of exchange of views among “colleagues”, who work in different markets and who, at the discussion table, shared experiences and difficulties. It was the right opportunity for the Carraro team itself to get in touch with new points of view and ideas proposed by those who can seize them, being in close contact with the market.
The last part of the event, as usual, was dedicated to some team building activities, fundamental to further integrate the Group and the team spirit. This time all the guests were taken to a special location: Gardaland, the most important amusement park in Italy. Here the various teams competed in a series of activities, elaborating a strategy to succeed in accumulating the highest scores. Skill tests and questions on the Carraro Group made this experience unique and memorable, with its right mix of adrenaline, adventure and business.
